Dear followers of Anathema, fellow bibliophiles, artists & authors,

As many of you know, we tend to follow our hearts—sometimes a little too eagerly and biting off more than we can chew—when it comes to the written word. Over the past months, we've found ourselves joyfully neck-deep in several ambitious projects, each of which deserves the full measure of our care and attention.

With nearly half a dozen titles currently in development, our small but dedicated team is giving all we’ve got to ensure each book is shepherded to publication with the thoughtfulness it warrants. That said, in the interest of maintaining the quality we hold dear (and our own sanity!), we are placing a temporary pause on all unsolicited manuscript submissions.

As of today, we are closed to new submissions until further notice.

We know this may come as a disappointment to those who were preparing to share their work with us, and for that we are truly sorry. We deeply appreciate the trust so many of you have placed in our publishing house over the years, and we look forward to opening our doors once more once our current titles have safely made their way into the world.
