Canada Post Disruption

*Latest News (Dec 9, 2024) Temporary UPS and FedEx Domestic Service Restriction (for Canada only): Due to capacity issues within the UPS and Fedex network, UPS and Fedex also temporarily suspended Domestic Services for an indeterminate period. We are currently looking for any and all alternative methods of shipping for Canadian customers as we are weathering the rippling effects of the ongoing nationwide postal strike. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience during this time.

Alternative Shipping Options

For the duration of the Canada Post strike, we would strongly advise customers to choose Shipping Options titled:

“UPS ∨ DHL” followed by the ‘general region’ in parenthesis. Example: “UPS ∨ DHL (USA)”

These options, for the most part, are slightly more expensive but not prohibitively so, depending on destination.

Since we cannot wholly remove (or temporarily disable) the Canada Post option from our Shipping options upon checkout (options labelled “CP” which you will see now listed as "On Strike"), it will be incumbent on the customer to choose “UPS ∨ DHL” in the meantime.

*We realize this situation is not ideal, especially for orders packed in very small (i.e., light) packets or envelopes, since there are no shipping options for lightweight parcels with UPS or DHL. For the time being, then, it’d be best to accumulate and order a few more items so that the shipping price is optimal.

*As per our usual Shipping Policy, however, International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Anathema Publishing Ltd. ships all orders as DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid), and is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

Consider ordering from our Official Distributors

• We strongly suggest Europe and UK customers order from our official distributor in the EU, Cyclic Law.

• Likewise for our Asia and Oceania customers, it would be best to order directly from Heka Books.

Transparency

As per the latest news from Canada Post and UPS, parcels already in transit may be hit with delays for delivery. All of us, customers and seller (that's us) included, hope that the strike does not last too long and that services resume rapidly.

“Melted Body” (Art Print) Pre-Orders

Please note that the overall strike in no way affects Pre-Orders of the new Art Print “Melted Body” and customers may still choose any shipping options available since by the time we’ll get to ship these, the strike will have likely resolved.
