This is a replica of a silver coin from this era, the ancient Greek drachma. I sculpted it, and it was produced it in sterling silver. This one depicts a lion's face on one side and a rider on the other. This coin appears to have been created in ancient Sicilia. The rider is thought to be Apollo, the god of light, sun, art, harmony, and divination, and the lion is encircled by four laurel leaves. Suitable for any Apollo magic and sun-related spells.
